The wonderful architectural site, the historic Arifail mosque was built in the sixteenth century during Mughal period in Sarail Upazila of Brahmanbaria district. According to local myth, saint Shah Arif founded the mosque in 1662 and it was named after him accordingly. The height of this three-domed Arifail mosque is 70 feet 6 inches and the thickness of its walls is 5 feet 6 inches. Four octagonal minarets occupy four corners of the mosque.
How To Go
From any part of Bangladesh, you can come directly to the Bishbrod junction of Brahmanbaria district by adding CNG. It is possible to go from the Upazila premises by rickshaw or on foot.
