Lokkhon Shahar Jomidar Bari

Lokkhon Shahar Jomidar Bari is located near Danga Bazar in Palash upazila of Narsingdi district, a short distance from the capital Dhaka. Zamindar Lakshan Saha, the builder of this house, was originally a sub-zamindar under the chief zamindar. Laxman Saha has 3 sons named Perimohan Saha, Nikunja Saha and Banku Saha. Banku Saha migrated to India during the partition and Nikunja Saha also migrated to India before 1971.

Only Perimohan Saha stayed here. Perimohan Saha's only son, Buddhist Narayan Saha, sold the house to a lawyer named Ahmed Ali. For this reason, the zamindar house of Lakshan Saha is better known as the house of a lawyer in this region. It is known that at present part of Lakshman Saha's descendants are living in Narayanganj city.

Three more zamindar houses were found near Lakshan Saha's zamindar house. Among the houses are Sudan Saha's house, Kundu Saha's zamindar house of huge size and Balapur Bidhan Saha's zamindar house in Madhabadi of Narsingdi.
