Satgram Zamindar Bari

The historic Satgram Zamindar Bari, built during the British rule, is located at Satgram in Araihazar upazila of Narayanganj district. The zamindars used to govern the area from this zamindar house. The zamindars of Satgram were very oppressive. If they could not pay the rent of the land allotted to them in return for rent, the tenants would be brutally oppressed. And so there are many stories of oppressive zamindars in every building of Satgram zamindar’s house.
